Attentive and very friendly staff. Great selection of food, caters also for gluten and dairy free. Happy to accommodate without making you feel like a leper. I was told they are currently reviewing their menu, hopefully, not too much! Great atmosphere, well supported the last few times we were there. Certainly one of our favourite restaurants.

My partner and I had the most enjoyable dining experience. I loved their style of New Zealand cuisine. Flavours and seasonal combinations. As a chef myself it was great to experience their style of service which is fun and welcoming. Loved the drinks list too. Thank you very much to the Gas team.

Love this place! Really cool vibe and a great bartender - think I remember him from the Darkroom. He is definitely a keeper!Loved the hottties and blankets that are provided makes it all comfortable and enjoyable on these late autumn nights.This place is a real hidden gem 100% recommend.

My general response after going to a restaurant is that it was really good but let me state that cook n with gas was exceptional ! From the service to the food was definitely one that I would be happy to repeat, a real treat

I've heard good things, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was great, presented nicely and generous portions. Service was excellent, especially from the energetic hirsute gentleman.Although we only had one course and a wine, there was no pressure for us to leave as we sat and chatted for a while.Decor is fascinating and homely at the same time. Prices are a little on the high side for a Christchurch restaurant, but well worth it for what you get (and the service).Final words: Book a table now.

Why have I never been here before!?Ive always heard great reviews but youll have to see for yourself. The service is professional yet casual, they are very accepting of dietry requirements the flood is to die for, awesome cocktails and the beer fridge will keep any beer drinker happy, I counted 36 different flavoured beers and ciders. I think this is my new favourite place in Christchurch.
